I am enjoying the process of working on this piece. Although difficult in subject matter for me, the process is exciting. I have found a method which allows me to merge many creative loves: sewing, painting, drawing, collage. Although I have used this process in the past, I have always stretched the finished product over stretcher bars. This time I will grommet the piece and see if I like the results. It even has a title now: When No Words Seem Appropriate. Art prize is right around the corner- and I am working diligently to get this piece finished. I have always enjoyed deadlines! This piece will also be part of a solo show in October / November: Gabriel's Garden.
